A YMCA Program in support of school and families during school shut-down/out of school time
Y Academy provides a safe, secure, and healthy environment for elementary students when schools shut down. Through encouraging your child in remote learning, providing unique enrichment opportunities, and developing healthy living habits, Y Academy is a place all children experience achievement, relationship and belonging.
DAYS AND TIMES
On hybrid non-attendance days, we offer a full-day asynchronous learning program from 6:45am to 5:30pm. On Wednesday Remote Days, we offer a full-day academic and recreation program.
Hybrid non-attendance days: Y and Calvary UMC.
Wednesday Remote program: Y and Northpoint Elementary School.
Hybrid 3 days: $115 a week for YMCA Members; $175 a week for Non-Members
Wednesday Remote Program: $37 for members; $55 for nonmembers
** If you have more than one child registered for the program, you will receive a $10 discount per additional child.
** 3 day option will require a commitment to the same 3 days every week. If attendance changes, communication with the Director of Youth Development is required by 5pm Thursday of the prior week.
As is the case with all YMCA programs, nobody will be denied participation due to inability to pay. Through the generosity of our community, we are able to offer financial assistance on a sliding scale. Additionally, we accept CCRRN.
Registration for Y Academy opens Friday, August 7 at 5 p.m. online. Click the button below to learn details about our elementary and junior high program structures.
