HEALTHY KIDS U COORDINATOR

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Healthy Kids U Coordinator will lead the YMCA/OSF Healthy Kids U program. The ideal candidate will exemplify excellent communication skills with children and adults. AQUATICS TEAM LEAD

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the aquatic area and providing work direction to staff while on duty. A high level of focus on customer service and high quality programs is expected. Team Leads are responsible for providing additional training to staff as assigned. Team leads are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times while working. This position is scheduled on a semester basis. Hiring schedule is spring, summer, and fall/winter. Lifeguard:

 •YMCA Lifeguard with either American Red Cross CPR-AED for Lifeguards/Professional Rescuer, First Aid & Oxygen Administration or American Heart Lifeguard CPR-AED, First Aid & Oxygen Administration.

Aqua Fitness Instructors

The Y is actively hiring energetic and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for teaching in a community-centered environment! Aqua fitness instructors help support the work of the Y by instructing group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness level. Our instructors work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
