YMCA Camp Sparrow


Give your children a summer full of fun, friends and memories at the YMCA's Summer Day Camp!  Summer Day Camp allows your child the opportunity to learn new skills, form wonderful relationships with their peers and learn more about themselves. Spend time outdoors and indoors as experienced staff lead adventures that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body.

Program Outcomes

  • The development of character traits (caring, honesty respect, responsibility)
  • Improvement of social, emotional, and cognitive behavior
  • Provide a safe and reliable environment that gives parents peace of mind
  • Encourage lasting relationships across all levels with children, parents, and school administration

CAMP Locations:

Northpoint Elementary School in Bloomington for kids entering kindergarten-8th grade.

We are overwhelmed with joy to announce that our 6th-8th grade group at Northpoint is at capacity this year! At this time, we are no longer taking children in this age group. If you have questions or concerns, please contact our Youth Development Coordinator, Sarah Tunall at or 309.827.6233.

Registration fees are per child

Early Registration: Feb 12 - March 11; $50 members/ $75 non-members

Open Registration: March 12 - April 15; $75 members/$100 non-members

Late Registration: April 16 - August or until spots are filled; $125 members and non-members

5 Day Week: $133 member/ $185 non-member

3 Day Week: $93 member/ $135 non-member

Early Drop-Off: 7am-8:30am (no additional cost)
Camp Hours: 8:30am-4pm
Late Pick-Up: 4-5:30pm (no additional cost)
