Before/After School
Grades K-6
The Y-PALS (Positive After School Learning & Socialization) Program is held in area schools from 7:00 am to the start of school and from the end of school to 5:30 pm for grades K-6. Activities will include homework, quiet time, structured games and free play time. A snack will be provided in all afternoon programs. On days when Unit 5 schools are not in session, the YMCA will host a full day of activities from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for children ages 5 through 12 at the YMCA. Activities will include arts & crafts, structured games, swimming, and free play. Children attending should bring a sack lunch and drink, swimsuit and towel. Families need to pre-register. Families may register with the YMCA Y-PALS staff or at the YMCA. Y-PALS Plus will not be in session on snow days or half days of school; only scheduled full days off.
